03-C Edge EZ Dodge Cummins Module Dodge re-designed the 5.9 Cummins motor for the 2003 model year to be quieter and produce more power than it's predecessors. With the HO motor, you can have 305 horsepower from the factory. So, consequently, Edge stepped up to increase that power right away! The Edge EZ Module gives you 85 horsepower/ 165 foot pounds of torque increase in about ten minutes! The Edge EZ Module requires no mechanical or tuning knowledge, just follow the directions enclosed with the module. There are two plugs under the hood to hook up and velcro the module to the fuse box, and you are done.

98.5-02 Edge EZ Dodge Cummins Module The quickest way to gain horsepower and torque on the Cummins is to use an Edge EZ Module. The Edge EZ Module gives you 65 horsepower/135 foot pounds of torque increase in about ten minutes. Edge Comp 5 Stage Dodge Cummins Module Edge Products power modules are an excellent addition to any Dodge Cummins. If you want huge increases in horse power and torque, the Edge Comp Module is for you! Five stages of horse power and torque increases at the touch of a button from in the cab. The horsepower stages are: 40, 60, 80, 100, 125. The torque stages are: 150, 200, 250, 300, 350. Gauges, air intake, & 4" exhaust are highly recommended to use the Comp Module. Transmission upgrades are also recommended if you have an automatic.

ATS Dodge Cummins Three Piece Exhaust Manifold Advanced Turbo Systems is a leading manufacturer of diesel performance products for the Dodge Cummins Diesel. ATS has addressed the issue of the factory exhaust manifold cracking due to thermal stress of heating and then cooling. The factory manifold is one piece, so when it gets hot it expands, then when it cools off it shrinks again. This will cause stress cracks in the manifold. ATS has designed and built a three piece manifold that will cure the stress cracking because there is room for the manifold to expand and contract. The three pieces are machined to exacting tolerances and fit together tightly so there are no exhaust leaks.

These turbos utilize different air inlets, compressor wheels, and in some cases, a full ball bearing race. New to Five-R's line of high quality products are the the full line of Diesel Performance Parts exhaust systems. All of DPP's exhaust systems are 4" mandrel bent, and come in either T-304 stainless steel or aluminized versions. The spiral flow louvered muffler is a six inch diameter by thirty inch long, T-304 stainless steel case, containing an inner packing material made of stainless steel wool, with a ceramic wool outer packing. The interior of the muffler is a four inch T-304 stainless steel tube that dampens the resonance of diesel exhaust and still keeps the interior noise level of the cab within three decibels of the factory sound level. The stainless steel version includes all stainless hangers, stainless muffler, and a limited lifetime warranty! The DPP exhaust systems come in single outlet, dual outlet, full, or cat back.

AFE has designed an air intake tube called the "Torque Tube" for the 2003-C Cummins. The factory intake tube is restrictive and can rob you of air and power, where the AFE Torque Tube is mandrel bent 4" tubing and full flow couplings. As you can see by the flow graph to the left, the AFE intake with the Torque Tube way outflows the stock setup!

ATS Dodge Propane Injection System Advanced Turbo Systems is a leading manufacturer of diesel performance products. The Torque Pro 2000 propane system has been designed to increase horsepower and torque along with increased fuel mileage. Propane injection work to condense the air fuel mixture and you will burn almost 100% of the diesel fuel, instead of the 75 to 80% of the fuel you burn currently. Propane injection can be used to pull those long hills better, or to increase fuel mileage around town. The system has multiple built in safety features and comes on only when your engine has a Hobbs pressure switch adjustable between between 3.1 to psi so that the propane turns on only when you need it. The propane system turns off when you turn the key off, so you do not have to turn the tank off every time you get out of the truck. A performance 4" exhaust is highly recommended when installing a propane injection system.

Gauges are critically important especially when you are modifying your Ram. The three most important gauges are boost, exhaust gas temperature, and transmission temperature.

The boost gauge can tell you when your are having a air inflow problem to the turbo, and also when there is a problem with the factory computer "defueling" the motor. Defueling means that the computer sees an abnormal situation with the motor, and actually pulls fuel out of the injection cycles to avoid a serious problem. Without fuel, you will not get any, or hardly any boost.

Exhaust gas temperature (EGT) monitoring is critical to the lifespan of your diesel. Excessive EGT's will result in shortened turbo life along with many other engine components.

Transmission temperature monitoring is critical to the lifespan of your diesel's transmission. Heat is a leading killer of your transmission. When the fluid is out of safe operating temperature range, torque convertors get ruined, clutches burn up, other parts can warp and ruin your transmission.

Having the gauges mounted where you can easily see them is critical. That is why we mount most gauges on the A-pillar (the winshield pillar). You can glance over and see the gauges easily without taking your eyes off the road. We only use Autometer 2 1/16" 270 degree sweep electric gauges and pods for all our diesel applications. You can choose from any of the different Autometer gauge styles including Sport Comp, Ultralite, Lunar, Phantom, C2, Cobalt, and many others.

Performance & Extreme Duty Transmissions Well, you have all that power now, how are you going to get it to the rear wheels? The answer is an extreme duty transmission and torque convertor! The Dodge transmission is good for regular duty applications, but could sure use some beefing up. We can do just the front half of the transmission, torque convertor, valve body mods, transmission commander which includes exhaust brake controls. Or we can do a complete extreme duty rebuild with the above mentioned components along with a complete rebuild with extreme duty clutches and all other components.
